Justin provides direct assistance to the Chief Investment Officer in maintaining responsibility for the investment philosophy, process and methodology of CGWM, and acts as the alternate to the CIO. 

He is Chairman of CGWM’s Portfolio Construction Committee, a member of the Asset Allocation and Fund Selection committees and manages several of CGWM’s Select range of funds. Justin is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI and is a former President of the Guernsey Branch of the Institute. 

The outlook for the technology sector

James joined our investment management team in 2014 as an Investment Analyst and is now our Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining TAM, James worked at UBS AG New York within the banks options trading division. UBS AG relocated him to their Investment Banking division headquartered in London where he specialised in both global equities and derivatives within the banks’ growing Portfolio Trading Division.

James brings significant financial market experience to our investment team from a global career within one of the largest financial institutions in the world. A disciplined and methodological approach to global investing is one of the core themes James has instilled at TAM.

Paul has been involved in financial services for over twenty five years, including adviser facing sales roles for the last twenty years. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and holds Fellowship status with the Personal Finance Society. Paul has extensive UK and International experience which he has gained in earlier roles with an international pension trustee and before that as regional sales manager for several leading offshore life offices.

Explaining the retirement benefit processes of an International SIPP

Paul looks at the application of PAYE income tax when reviewing the similarities and key differences between the retirement benefit processes of an International SIPP and a QROPS, plus how a NT tax code can be applied where a scheme member lives in a country that has a double tax agreement with the UK.
