SCHEDULE / AGENDA

Masterclass Seminars

There were three Masterclass Seminars that took place:

1st March – Limassol, Cyprus
15th March – Prague, Czech Republic
28th March – Marbella, Spain

See here for details.

Masterclass Webinars

There were two Masterclass Webinars. The first Webinar was held on 8th March and commenced at 10.00am GMT and ran until 11:15am. The second Webinar on 22nd March also commenced at 10:00am GMT and ran until 11:15am. The two webinars combined contained exactly the same content as the three physical seminars above.

CPD is available for the webinars with separate certificates for each webinar, in case members were unable or do not wish to attend both events.

The webinars are also available as Videos on Demand. We urged members to “consume” them live as this was the most engaging way to benefit from the contents, of course. There was no limits to the number of attendees for the live webinars – all FEIFA members were able to login if they wished to.

View the ‘schedule’ below which includes links to the Presentations.

WEBINAR 1 – 8th March 2023

10:00 to 11:15

Presentations:

Pacific Asset Management

Title: Alpha is in the advice – technology-enabled adviser solutions

PAM’s proposition is defined by empowering advice firms. Multi-asset solutions are becoming homogenous, and so we need to recognise the role of financial planners as the key alpha generator, whilst also recognising that asset managers must differentiate not only from a performance perspective but also via service, cost, and technology. As an investment-led business creating diversified, relative outperformance will always be vital, so too will providing solutions within a technology and service-support framework – that enhances investment solutions for clients, whilst increasing the value of adviser businesses.

RBC Brewin Dolphin

Title: What it takes to build a modern portfolio

An in-depth look at the work behind the scenes of modern portfolio construction, covering research requirements, strategic asset allocation, monitoring, asset selection, screening and due diligence, risk assessment, ESG factors – and how modern portfolio management has evolved over the years.

WEBINAR 2 – 22nd March 2023

10:00 – 11:15

Presentation:

LGT Wealth Management

Title: Multi-asset investing is evolving! – what next for you and your clients?

The global investment outlook has shifted dramatically which has resulted in a renewed focus on how to build a robust multi asset portfolio fit for the next decade and beyond. Is the case for passive strategies as strong as it was 5 years ago? How do you look to capture the environmental mega-trends that are gathering momentum all of the time whilst still holding true to the core principles of delivering strong risk-adjusted returns for clients?

Followed by a panel session (LGT, Pacific Asset Management and RBC Brewin Dolphin).
